Mrs. Akinsanya Tawa Toyin -Deputy Director, (HOD) Urban Planning and Development

Akinsanya Tawa Toyin was born on April 22, 1971 to the family of Adeyoruwa Anifowose in Igbogbo town, Ikorodu Local Government, Lagos State.

She attended U.A.M.C(Eleja) Primary school; Oreyo Grammar school and Zumratul Islamiyyah Grammar school all in Igbogbo town.

She also proceeded for tertiary education at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State where she obtained her first degree(B.Tech) in Urban and Regional Planning.

After the completion of the NYSC, she joined the Lagos State Civil Service in the year 2000 and had served in various capacities as a key officer in monitoring and stage certification; Local/Authority and District office; preparation of land use maps/layouts/development guides; preparation of Epe Master Plan; review of Ikeja Model city Plan among others.

She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP) and a registered member of the Town Planners Registration Council (TOPREC).

She is still in active service.

She is married with children.
